Dear APB Families and Swimmers, 

What an awesome start to the season! Congratulations on our first team event, the Black and Blue meet, our official time trial. For many of our swimmers, this was their very first swim meet, which makes it even more exciting. Huge congratulations to both swimmers and parents. You did it! 

We saw some fantastic swims from both returning and new team members, and we even had an unofficial team record from Blayke Schoen. So exciting! It was such a fun, high energy meet, and we loved cheering on every single swimmer. 

Swim meets truly don’t happen without the support of our APB families. Every role makes a difference, and we’re so grateful to everyone who jumped in, whether you were trying something new or helping others learn the ropes. Your involvement made the Black and Blue meet a huge success and a great team experience. 

We’re also introducing a few new things this season, and we really appreciate your patience as we all learn and grow together. Everyone is putting in their best effort, and it shows. We’re building something really positive as a team. 

Regarding ribbons, as mentioned in Coach Jared’s message, we’re working hard to get them completed as quickly as possible. Once they’re ready, the ribbon box will be out on the table during practices, organized alphabetically by last name, for you or your swimmer to check and collect any ribbons earned during the meet. We know everyone is excited, and we can’t wait to get them to you!
